These earplugs are made from blue thermoplastic rubber and are metal detectable, making them safe to use around food, and are rated SLC80 28dB. Each earplug is attached with a metal detectable cord to allow for hanging around the neck when not in use, making the item harder to lose.

It is important that businesses perform a sound audit or workplace noise assessment for each of their working environments prior to choosing hearing protection, and seek professional advice if the continuous sound level exceeds 110dB or the peak sound level rises above 140dB.
