Wave Food Safe Earplugs are bullet shaped earplugs for use in loud environments when working with food, for instance in food preparation, processing and manufacturing applications. They have a metal detectable connecting cord and the earplugs themselves are also metal detectable. These earplugs are made from soft polyurethane, making them comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, and are rated SLC80 28dB.

It is important that businesses perform a sound audit or workplace noise assessment for each of their working environments prior to choosing hearing protection, and seek professional advice if the continuous sound level exceeds 110dB or the peak sound level rises above 140dB.
