GreenFlex Recycled Cut Resistant Gloves C5/D are eco-friendly gloves made from recycled bottles. Utilising 0.335 bottles per pair, they are made from 13% recycled plastic and account for the removal of 9.35 grams of CO2 emissions. The recycled bottles are first cleaned and sterilised before being broken down into small flakes, which are melted and then extruded into yarn, which is in turn spun into thread. That gives us the basic fabric from which to begin to craft our gloves.
The glove is comprised of a 18 gauge lightweight high-performance polyethylene (HPPE) blended with recycled liner, the thin, fine fibers allowing for great dexterity and flexibility. A nitrile foam coating enhances grip and breathability, and the gloves are touch screen friendly for use with tablets, mobile phones and touch-screen PCs. Certified to Australian Standards 2161.2:2020 and 2161.3:2020, providing the highest-level of abrasion and tear resistance (Level 4), as well as puncture resistance (Level 2) and Level D cut protection, these gloves are great for a multitude of industry applications. Made for use in auto assembly, metal fabrication, metal stamping, oil applications, recycling, and glass handling as well.
For users, the GreenFlex Cut Resistant Recycled Gloves C5/D are machine washable. Available in packs of 12 pairs or cartons of 144, from size small all the way up to double extra-large.
